Umbraco is a free, open-source web content management system built on the Microsoft .NET Framework. It is easy to use, simple to understand, and is highly extensible using industry-standard languages and patterns such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, and C#.
The CMS enables web developers to build a website using its content management system. There is an active comunity that build plugins either for free of for a small charge to extend the functinality beyond what the core CMS provides.
Umbraco also have some paid options in terms of support for umbraco, training, access to the people who built the software.
